✵ Inspired by Desert Roots, Designed for Scottish Living ❋
I'm a multidisciplinary designer whose work bridges the warmth of Californian desert landscapes with the timeless elegance of Scottish living. My design philosophy draws from the earthy terracotta tones, sun-bleached textures, and organic forms of my American roots, while embracing the rich heritage, cozy intimacy, and sophisticated craftsmanship that defines Scottish interiors.
Currently completing my Master of Arts at the University of St Andrews and pursuing my Level 3 Diploma in Professional Interior Design, I specialize in creating spaces and visual identities that feel both globally inspired and deeply rooted in place.

My Design Philosophy
Experience & Expertise
My journey spans diverse creative environments, from leading comprehensive rebranding initiatives to designing for sustainable fashion shows. As Head of Marketing & Graphic Design for Reclaim Runway, I directed an 8-week campaign that resulted in a 65% increase in pre-event engagement through strategic visual storytelling and multi-platform coordination.

Cultural Design Fusion – Seamlessly blending Southwestern minimalism with Scottish heritage and global influences
Interior Design Practice
My signature aesthetic emerges from what I call "The Art Aficionado" approach—spaces that feel like curated galleries where every piece tells a story. Working toward my Level 3 Diploma in Professional Interior Design, I specialize in creating environments that blend mid-century modern sophistication with global textile traditions and carefully chosen artistic elements.
My design language features rich walnut wood grains paired with jewel-toned upholstery in sage greens and deep teals, complemented by geometric patterns that echo both Southwestern weaving traditions and Scottish tartans. I'm drawn to statement lighting—from pleated lamp shades that cast warm, honeyed light to sculptural pendant fixtures with malachite-green spheres that become art pieces themselves.
Each room I design tells a cultural story through layered textiles: striped Navajo-inspired blankets, traditional kilim rugs with diamond motifs, and bold African-influenced patterns that create visual rhythm across a space. My colour palette centres on earthy terracotta and warm ochres grounded by deep navy walls, with touches of dusty rose and sage that feel both sophisticated and welcoming.
The "Art Aficionado" concept means every space functions as a living gallery—vintage botanical prints in gilded frames, sculptural ceramics with organic forms, and carefully curated objects that span cultures and eras. My rooms feature the clean lines of Danish modern furniture softened by globally inspired textiles and the kind of thoughtful lighting that makes every corner feel intentionally composed.
Notable Projects
My recent interior design work showcases the versatility of aesthetics across different living spaces. From bedrooms that feel like intimate artist studios—featuring rich walnut furniture, geometric textiles in earthy stripes, and sculptural pottery-based lighting—to living rooms that celebrate bold pattern mixing with African-inspired wallpapers, vintage leather seating, and carefully layered kilim rugs.
Parallel to my interior work, my graphic design portfolio spans multiple aesthetic territories: experimental liquid abstractions with vibrant colour flows for contemporary art events, playful 3D bubble typography for music promotions, vintage-inspired poster designs with diamond borders and gradient treatments, and raw, hand-sketched logotypes that capture authentic brand personality. This range demonstrates my ability to match visual language to audience and context—whether designing for underground music venues or sustainable fashion initiatives.
Through comprehensive branding and marketing projects with Ever Lasting Fabric, Out n About, and Reclaim Runway, I've managed cross-functional rebranding initiatives that increased brand recognition by 25% and boosted audience engagement by 63%. Each campaign reflects my belief that visual identity should feel as thoughtfully composed as a well-designed room—every element working in harmony to tell a cohesive story.
What Drives Me
Every project I undertake—whether designing a cozy Scottish flat that honours its owner's Californian heritage, creating a logo that captures the spirit of sustainable fashion, or developing marketing campaigns for emerging artists—is motivated by the belief that thoughtful design creates genuine human connections. My neurodivergent perspective brings intense focus and innovative problem-solving to every creative challenge, allowing me to see unexpected harmonies between seemingly disparate elements.
My desert roots teach me about the beauty of simplicity and the power of natural materials, while my Scottish home has shown me the importance of creating spaces that nurture community and conversation. This duality informs everything I create, resulting in work that feels both internationally sophisticated and deeply, authentically rooted in place.
Currently based in Scotland, I'm passionate about supporting emerging artists and sustainable creative practices while building my expertise in interior design to expand my multidisciplinary approach to visual storytelling.
